My dad told me when I was 14 years old that I should stick to what I was good at. And I have. I'm good at writing what I think. Saying what I feel. Loving with all my heart. Trusting those who don't deserve it. And realizing my strengths are more often than not the source of someone else's weakness. I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living- a source of ridiculousness I'll be.

I try and teach my kids one important lesson each day, whether it be “Don’t put your hand in a garbage disposal”, or “Love one Another”.

Today I tried to teach them the story of the boy who cried wolf, in order to portray the importance of only telling stories that were true.

I finished up with my usual: “What did you learn from this story?”

Going around the circle:

Mia: I don’t know.

Charity: I like woofs.

Aubree: Don’t lie?

Mikey: “Tending people’s sheep is a ridiculous and boring job.”

I think it’s safe to say;

My work here is done.
