My dad told me when I was 14 years old that I should stick to what I was good at.
And I have.
I'm good at writing what I think.
Saying what I feel.
Loving with all my heart.
Trusting those who don't deserve it.
And realizing my strengths are more often than not the source of someone else's weakness.

People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I love this quote, and I am absolutely no Marilyn Monroe, but sometimes I think things fall apart because we’re human. And human beings do shitty things to other people when we’re being selfish. If nothing better falls together, oh well. Don’t cry because it’s over- smile because it happened and you still have photos of them you can tag on Facebook.
